Wynton Marsalis’ A Fiddler’s Tale: DIGITAL CONCERT

York Symphony Orchestra’s digital concerts begin with a livestream premiere followed by 48-hour concert access. Experience Grammy-winning Wynton Marsalis’ composition reinterpreting Stravinsky’s classic, The Soldier’s Tale. Marsalis weaves a harrowing story of an aspiring musician who sells her music to the devil – a record company – in an age-old tale of temptation. The jazz-inspired 7-piece chamber orchestra retells the legendary parable once again with narration.
