Pink Power Fifth Anniversary Event Aims to Knock Cancer Out of the Park

The first ever Pink in the Park ―a 50s Grease-style outdoor party at PeoplesBank Park―will bring up to 500 guys and gals together for Pink Power’s 5th anniversary celebration to raise money for local breast cancer related causes. Attendees are invited to dress casual, don bobby socks and blue jeans or dress as their favorite character from the movie Grease. Get your Pink Ladies and T-Birds together for an evening of fun to support four amazing breast cancer causes! In a dynamic mix of live and prerecorded entertainment, the interactive and inspiring festivities will include fabulous food stations from nine downtown York restaurants, cash bars, our traditional celebratory survivor toast, games in the outfield, a live auction, and more!

The 3-day online auction begins 10/19/2021 at 12 noon and ends 10/21/2020 at 10:00 pm.
Pink in the Park is Thursday, October 21, 2021, at PeoplesBank Park, 5 Brooks Robinson Way, York PA 17401. Doors open 5:00 pm. Social time 5:30 pm- 7:30 pm. Program and Live Entertainment 7:45 pm- 8:40 pm. Live Auction 8:40 pm-9:00 pm.
Notes: Health and safety of all is paramount. The outdoor location and ability to socially distance was chosen with COVID-19 concerns in mind. The organizers are following the CDC, PA Department of Health and PeoplesBank Park COVID-19 guidelines in effect on the day of the event. The total number of guests will be less than 10% of the 7,500 capacity of the stadium. Mask are optional and will be available onsite, there will be stations with hand sanitizer as well.

The inaugural Girls Night Out in 2017 raised $40,000; and the second Girls Night Out in 2018 raised $88,000, 2019 raised $100,000; and last year’s virtual pajama party raised an incredible $118,000! For our 5th anniversary we are looking forward to knocking cancer out of the park with our most successful year to date!
