The New Friends of York County group is tentatively planing to resume its normal monthly meeting schedule on Thursday evening, Sept. 17, 2020. This schedule depends upon the local effects of the global pandemic. More details will be published closer to the meeting date and will also be available at www.newfriendsofyorkcounty.com. The group does not meet during the summer months.
New Friends members typically participate in a variety of interest groups including: bunco, book club, ladies’ canasta, walking group, community service, craft night, dinner club, 500-bid, ladies’ luncheon, wine tasting, mahjong, and more. The main monthly meetings are normally held on the third Thursday from September through May, but some interest groups are currently getting together via the Zoom social media app. Prospective members are welcome to attend three events before committing to membership in the group.
